A resurfacing peel that combines Salicylic and Chloroacetic Acid for dermal regeneration and rejuvenation. The skin regains its energy, elasticity and radiance.

TCAs are one of the most popular types of medical grade chemical peels. They use Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to remove the damaged top layer of the skin which is then replaced with a smoother, brighter, more evenly toned and firmer complexion.

To accomplish this task, the solution is applied to the skin  and induces a  controlled injury.  The healing processes then begin, resulting in the regeneration of  new tissues.

TCA can also be used as an intensive spot treatment as the product contains Salicylic Acid which is perfect for clearing oily,  acne-prone skin.

The face, neck, chest and back can be treated.

DOWNTIME:

Day 1: Immediately after treatment, skin can be slightly red and will feel tight.

Avoid strenuous workouts, dry saunas and  steam rooms as these can increase blood circulation and intensify warming, tingling, redness and other uncomfortable side effects directly after a peel.

Day 2-5: Throughout these days, the affected area will shed the skin that has been exposed to the TCA treatment. It’s normal for the peeling skin to come off in patches over the course of several days.

After application of the peeling, the skin is firmer, brighter and with less wrinkles.

The skin will be more delicate initially  so avoid direct sun exposure. Apply sunscreen with SPF30 or more and moisturise regularly. It is also important to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration of the skin.
